Having just had a baby, I found that I had been left with an extremely weak core and needed to strengthen it again to be able to partake in other forms of exercise.
I turned to Pilates, which I had been practising for many years but really began to feel the real benefits as it helped to strengthen my core, improve my posture and lengthen my muscles rather than bulk.
This inspired me to want to help others to experience the benefits of Pilates and be able to improve their own bodies.
So I decided to train with Stott Pilates in January and haven't looked back since. It helped to incorporate all of the skills I had gained with my dancing background and use these abilities to enhance my teaching of the pilates repertoire.
